Meet Susan
I come to you uniquely qualified to work with high school students on their path toward their “best fit” college or university, in part because I’ve been there. With two daughters and a son who are college graduates, I have been in the midst of “all things college” since 2001, when my oldest was just beginning the college admissions process. To add to and enhance my hands-on experience, I received my Masters Degree in Education, specializing in School Counseling, in 2010 from Virginia Commonwealth University, and I joined the Independent Educational Consultant’s Association (IECA) as an Associate Member, the Higher Educational Consultants Associations (HECA), as well as the Potomac and Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling (PCACAC).
I am committed to providing comprehensive, personalized advice to my clients as we navigate through the college admissions process. Frequent tours of college campuses allow me to provide sound counsel to students as they discern which colleges are best suited for them. Attendance at national and local conferences about the college admissions process keeps me up-to-date on this increasingly complex field. I am dedicated to walking this path with my clients toward a successful destination, and having a good time on the journey.
