Open Doors College Consulting, founded by Susan Eschenroeder, provides personal, holistic college guidance counseling and support for students and their families. Our mission is to help each student systematically navigate the increasingly confusing maze of college admissions, opening doors to an academic environment in which the student will thrive intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.

The simple reason is that the college admissions process has become more complex. Years ago, a student applying to college filled out a few applications, took the SAT one time with no prep courses (those weren’t even offered!), and usually received an acceptance letter from the school of his or her choice. Done!
